  1. wow, it really does depend. i love to learn so that is a plus, and then if i really love the teacher - will be right in there. Price does have to reflect the product and class time for sure - otherwise, i would rather spend that money on more goodies!!!

    Nice pics of you gals!

  2. Hmmm...well I would have to say the project, then teacher, then price. If the project is something new and I really want to learn how, price won't matter but a great teacher is a plus. Which I think I have had some awesome ones. Such great pictures....looks like the Canucks have entertained again..safe trip home.

  3. good question, Christy. I can honestly say I have only taken a handful of classes in my 11 years of scrappin' (more of a teacher, I guess). But.....if there was a class being taught by any of my favourite people in this industry, it wouldn't matter what it is -- obviously I love them b/c I love their projects & style. They could be teaching lawn mowing for all I care. If I got to spend an afternoon with them, "let's mow some lawn!!"
Have a great flight home -- love ya'.

  4. 2 things decide classes for me usually: the instructor & if it's a technique class. I'm not a big fan of "recreation classes" because I like my projects to look different which is why I love technique classes. Glad to hear you had a good time and welcome home!

  5. I usually fall in love with the project and then I'm in.
Glad to see you have had such a fun dinner together.
    Have a good flight home!

  7. I love taking classes....if I really like a teacher I don't care what they are teaching I will take the class!! Of course if I come across a project that I just love I will sign up.

  8. Me it's all to do with the samples, I see the samples & they either woo me or they don't.

Have a safe trip home Christy!

  9. The first factor is ...is this something I want to learn.....second is cost and third is having fun....

  10. Often its a combination of things. I like to take classes that show me new products and teach me new techniques but I also am drawn in when the teacher is someone I admire.

  11. Usually the project has to really grab me, then the price!
    Have a great flight home!

  12. I would have to say the project.

  13. I am attracted by the finished product, then the instructor. I also want to feel that \i am getting good dollar value.

I have been known to take a class just for the instructor but that is not a common occurence.

  14. It's a little bit of everything... I have to like the product, plus having the right instructor makes a difference. Finally, I think everyone is trying to deal with price and getting a perceived value. Thanks for sharing so much from CHA with us. Hope you have an early spring!

  15. mainly the project, a cool teacher definitely helps and doing it with a buddy helps too.

  16. I like to learn something new, I like it when there is lots of good product, and the teacher can make it fun or not so much. so I think it all is important

  17. 'sup?
Glad you are home.... we should talk before you ditch me again.

  18. To take a class I totally look at the end product. If there was a teacher that was "famous" to me then I would take the class just to see them work.

  19. I factor in Teacher, project and price when deciding on a class :)

  20. Sometimes the project/product/technique, the price and time factor.

  21. The project and product. I like to make things I'll use or give to someone and these are the best place to try new products and learn new techniques.

  22. I take clases to learn. If I think I can figure it out for myself-I am less likely to be interested.
